Meet the RRCi Crew

Meet the crew of Radio Race Car International.

Peter Gray - Editor

A gadget nut since the 80’s, my love of technology started with building my first computer (a ZX80) from a kit and racing a Mardave Mini while still at school. Electric Off road then took hold with the classic Sand Scorcher, Hot-Shot and RC-10. After working as an Engineering Modelmaker and Shoe Designer throughout the 90’s I then got back into RC cars and modelmaking. Spurred on and encouraged by Dez, I then got into 1/5 th bikes, Heli’s and all types (and scale) of On and Off Road cars. My nickname has always been ‘Madpete’ from my BMX, Skateboarding and Snowboarding days, and if a review car can survive me at the controls, it’s pretty tough. I’ve been writing for RRCi for a while now and enjoy every moment of what we do to create the magazine. More recently I got the Rock Crawling bug leading me to write the RRCi Special and Co-present the RRCi Rock Crawling DVD. I also write as Contributing Editor for an online technology and gaming magazine Phonica UK, so if I’m not running a RC car, I’m reviewing the latest phone, gadget or computer game!

I still keep in touch with my fellow munkey brothers on MyFace, simples!
